What You Will Be Doing


  • Cascades the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring the Quest vision, values, and founding principles are effectively communicated, understood, and practiced.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Quest's vision, values, and missions through actions daily.
  • Manage staff to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation, feedback, and corrective action.
  • Oversee that the chef /managers consistently maintain high food quality and service levels.
  • Lead by example and maintain a professional and reputable work environment by enforcing policy and best practices that bring out a positive employment brand.
  • Interact with clients daily and maintain excellent client relationships through open and honest dialogue.
  • Stay abreast of the competition by analyzing quarterly market analysis and consistent research of menu trends.
  • Provide financial expertise in overseeing the management of Food, Labor, and Direct costs.
  • Educate clients with monthly meetings with transparent financials.
  • Identify and mentor next-level personnel to grow with the company and develop career paths, including training schedules.
  • Hold managers accountable for food, labor, and direct cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
  • Manage catering team to ensure quality in the final presentation of food.
  • Manage the account s marketing strategy programs to increase sales growth.
  • Manage accountability of staff using goal-setting and performance management processes.
  • Manage costs on all recipes.
  • Oversee and accountability of all purchases and inventory levels.
  • Oversee all menus.
  • Work in conjunction with the Chef/Manager, Food Service Director, and Food Service Manager to anticipate trends and roll out new concepts and ideas.
  • Maintain Quest s high standards by managing customer service and exceeding our clients expectations through delicious food and gracious hospitality.
  • Motivate management to consistently thrive to keep the account(s) fresh and exciting.
  • Maintain account in compliance with SOP standards and HACCP standards.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food practices.
  • Follow all Quest policies and food safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Your Experience And Skills Include


  • Completion of Dietetic Internship, current Registered Dietitian, and Registered Dietician License in Indiana
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum five years of food service management
  • Food service contractor experience in corporate dining, preferred
  • Extensive experience in the food service industry including a vast knowledge of establishing client relations and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Exemplary leadership skills
  • Expertise of the P&L impact and accounting practices
  • Experience with cost controls, sanitation, and safety is required
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Solid knowledge of financials
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Service Manager)
