What You Will Be Doing
- Cascades the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring the Quest vision, values, and founding principles are effectively communicated, understood, and practiced.
- Demonstrates commitment to Quest's vision, values, and missions through actions daily.
- Manage staff to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation, feedback, and corrective action.
- Oversee that the chef /managers consistently maintain high food quality and service levels.
- Lead by example and maintain a professional and reputable work environment by enforcing policy and best practices that bring out a positive employment brand.
- Interact with clients daily and maintain excellent client relationships through open and honest dialogue.
- Stay abreast of the competition by analyzing quarterly market analysis and consistent research of menu trends.
- Provide financial expertise in overseeing the management of Food, Labor, and Direct costs.
- Educate clients with monthly meetings with transparent financials.
- Identify and mentor next-level personnel to grow with the company and develop career paths, including training schedules.
- Hold managers accountable for food, labor, and direct cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
- Manage catering team to ensure quality in the final presentation of food.
- Manage the account s marketing strategy programs to increase sales growth.
- Manage accountability of staff using goal-setting and performance management processes.
- Manage costs on all recipes.
- Oversee and accountability of all purchases and inventory levels.
- Oversee all menus.
- Work in conjunction with the Chef/Manager, Food Service Director, and Food Service Manager to anticipate trends and roll out new concepts and ideas.
- Maintain Quest s high standards by managing customer service and exceeding our clients expectations through delicious food and gracious hospitality.
- Motivate management to consistently thrive to keep the account(s) fresh and exciting.
- Maintain account in compliance with SOP standards and HACCP standards.
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food practices.
- Follow all Quest policies and food safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required.
Your Experience And Skills Include
- Completion of Dietetic Internship, current Registered Dietitian, and Registered Dietician License in Indiana
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum five years of food service management
- Food service contractor experience in corporate dining, preferred
- Extensive experience in the food service industry including a vast knowledge of establishing client relations and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Exemplary leadership skills
- Expertise of the P&L impact and accounting practices
- Experience with cost controls, sanitation, and safety is required
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Solid knowledge of financials
- Proficient in MS Office
- Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Service Manager)
