Our Warehouse Supervisor position is first shift, Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm. This position is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and supporting daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products. This position requires an experienced individual with a strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to review department results and projects.
  • Interview, hire, train, and review all eligible personnel, in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in receiving, stock warranty returns, storage, inventory, picking, packing, and order fulfillment operations.
  • Supervise, motivate, and monitor the staff to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Track of incoming inventory shipments and ensure proper space/zoning requirements upon arrival.
  • Identify and locate parts, conduct physical inventory counts on a regular basis, and reconcile inventory counts.
  • Perform administrative tasks, transactions, and reports in ERP system.
  • Maintain a general knowledge of products.
  • Facilitate communication between departments, including providing updates to the Operations Manager, Remanufacturing, Manufacturing, Shipping, Sales and Sales Support, Sourcing, Engineering, and Quality.
  • Advise the Operations Manager about any major workflow problems or improvement opportunities, suggest actions that will improve processing or resolve the issues.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the duties of the personnel in the unit.
  • Utilize control systems and procedures to maximize productivity.
  • Organize new hire orientation and training schedules.
  • Act as back-up for the Shipping Lead for the daily incoming and outgoing functions.
  • Manage time and attendance for all direct reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of OSHA and FSIP.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.


Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate s degree in business management or related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
  • Prior ERP or inventory management system experience required.
  • Prior Forklift certification preferred.
  • Prior Project Management experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, and production/order requirements.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think strategically and motivate others.
  • Ability to solve complex problems that involve competing priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office to perform data entry with complex formulas.
  • Team oriented, customer-centric, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Accurate and efficient with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Associates must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
  • Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to occasionally lift or move at least 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
