Job Description ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital has been providing high-quality health care services to the Branch County community since 1939. Located in Coldwater, Michigan, ProMedica Coldwater has 71 acute medical beds and 16 adult psychiatric beds to care for patients and their families.
**Position Summary:**
Under the direction of manager, prepares foods needed for nutritional needs. Follows all established sanitation procedures. Performs area specific assigned duties to ensure food service to patients, employees, and visitors. Maintain area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Know and observe all safety and sanitation policies and procedures as they relate to your area. Provide quality customer service.
Job Requirements
* Requires attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal directions and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Some knowledge of weights and measurements.
* Requires the ability to make change and keep records accurately.
* Ability to move about the hospital and between workstations.
* Ability to communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills.
* Ability to tolerate exposure to temperature changes, humid/hot conditions and unpleasant odors.
* Occasionally move heavy carts and frequently lift light to medium weight equipment and supplies.
* Ability to maintain a productive work pace.
