Pay Rate: $25/hr - $32/hr + travel per diem

We currently have two (2) Ironworker positions to fill. We are looking for dedicated, skilled candidates who care about workmanship. Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to erect, install, and repair iron structures
  • Operate machinery, equipment, and power tools
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an ironworker
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA 10 training/certification
  • Ability to work at heights and in various temperatures
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to read prints and construction drawings
  • Good problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting
  • Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools.
  • May be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs
  • Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection equipment
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather steel-toed work boots

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass drug tests
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Ability to pass a job-related physical examination
  • Possess a clean, valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a welding test
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Willing to work in various locations in CT, MA, and RI (occasionally other nearby states)
  • Willing to be a team player and work well with others
