**Overview:**
* The duties of the Golf Concierge position are a true guest service function requiring an individual that approaches the Golf area as it were her/his home and they welcome and care for guests during their visit at the golf course. The Golf Concierge purpose is to ensure that the level of service provided to the guest is highly individualized and that each guest feels that their comfort and convenience are the principal concerns of The Gasparilla Inn & Club.
**Essential Job Functions:**
* Greets members and guests promptly and courteously upon their arrival.
* Retrieves golf bags from storage area for members.
* Retrieves golf carts for hotel guests or members
* Performs golf cart maintenance and cleans golf clubs.
* Works closely with the Golf Shop employees to confirm that players have paid the appropriate fees.
* Distributes scorecards, extra pencils and any information or assistance the players may need.
* Answers the telephones, answers questions and provides assistance to the guests.
* Assists other Golf employees in maintaining a clean work area and professional looking Golf Shop appearance.
* Provides direction and information regarding property's facilities.
* Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
* Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
* Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
* Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data.
* Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
* Flexibility in schedule
**Other Job Functions:**
* Assist and guide guests around golf course.
* Be knowledgeable of the golf course operations
* Assist in storeroom organization and cleaning.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the Golf pro

* Ability to understand guest inquiries and provide responses.
* Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
* Ability to work well under pressure within any given period of time.
* Ability to focus attention on details.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
* Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time.

**Equipment:**
* Telephones, golf carts, golf bags and golf clubs.
**Physical Requirements:**
* Bending Twisting and kneeling
* Lifting up to 50 pounds
