Job description:
Since its beginnings in 2014, our client has been providing authentic Italian deli meats in the pre-sliced grab and go formats. The company s line has been steadily growing for years.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development in the West Coast, with particular focus in the following States: AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA, AK, UT,CO.
- Travel to visit customers in the states mentioned above 75% of the time.
- Establish and develop relationship with distributors in Los Angeles.
- Responsible for the overall sales and relationship management efforts for existing and prospective customers within your assigned territory.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in different channels: wholesale, food service, retail and B2B.
- Industry and market trends research impacting market within your territory.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans that expand the Company s customer base and extend the company's reach in the US market.
- Visit customers within the assigned territory on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis
- Conducting business reviews to determine existing customers needs and areas of opportunity for growing sales.
- Providing ongoing training to customers on product offerings.
- Preparing sales budgets and projections.
- Overseeing and coordinating performance of Food Brokers.
- Communicating order status and order processing updates to customers.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Experience selling Italian deli meats or Cheeses.
- 5+ years of prior sales experience in the region within the Food Industry.
- Based in Los Angeles.
- Maintain a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Own reliable transportation.
- Availability to travel up to 75% of the time to other states.
