Job Requirements
- Will be responsible for high volume vehicle paint jobs (4-5 a day)
- Ensure prototype vehicle quality will meet or exceed customer requirements o Responsible for prototype body
- Paint production and quality assurance
- Ability to mix and apply Primer, Top coat and clear coat finishes on prototype vehicles
- Sanding and prep work may be required
- Flexible schedule and willing to adapt to schedule changes and available to work overtime
- Some weekend work may be required
- Work safely as part of a team, putting safety as first priority
Job Qualifications
- 1 year experience in vehicle body work and paint skill (trade school education or work equivalent experience)
- Ability to sand / finish resin parts to desired finish level
- Ability to judge surface and coating finish vs. boundary sample JIG, or Fixture design and adjustment
- Have ability to fix minor imperfections (sand and rub)
- Ability to accommodate daily priority changes as needed
- Willingness to follow standardized work and safety protocols
- Ability to work both independently and in small teams
- Demonstrated commitment to the customer (embrace flexibility of assignment and willingness to support in all functional roles)
- Fundamental paint knowledge and skills (Mixing paint, setting up gun, spray application, etc.)
