POSITION TITLE: Sales Ops/Marketing Intern


ORGANIZATION SUMMARY: Galehead is the leading upstream technology and services platform for planning, management, and delivery of greenfield development pipeline for the Energy Transition. Galehead is a trusted project development partner to global utilities, Independent Power Producers, and Fortune 500 companies. Since its founding in 2016, Galehead has deployed its proprietary LandCommand technology and specialized upstream platform to develop more than 15 GW of solar, storage, and wind projects under active development by Galehead and its Downstream Partners including Tyr Energy Development, EDF, Clearway, Rev Renewables, Steelhead, Engie, and Longroad.


In 2022, Macquarie made a strategic investment providing growth capital for Galehead s platform and its development pipeline.


POSITION SUMMARY:

This role involves optimizing marketing material and streamlining sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and exceptional organizational skills as there will be an abundance of cross collaboration and the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the industry. We are looking for current undergraduate students.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support corporate and opportunity-specific marketing efforts across BD, Dev, Ventures, and Land
  • Create 'best practice' marketing materials and copy that will be distributed to teams for off-the-shelf use
  • Manage internal communications and creation of ad hoc presentations and marketing deliverables
  • Analyze marketing performance reports and communicate results
  • SalesOps
  • Salesforce database work supporting Business Development, Land Services and Project Development teams
  • Documentation of SalesOps processes and streamlining organization
  • Ad hoc operations support and industry related research


PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Market Research - the ability to interpret market data, trends, and public information that can be translated into reporting metrics and presentation visuals
  • Excel - demonstrated proficiency in data management, interpretation, and reporting
  • Salesforce - familiarity with Salesforce or other marketing and sales software programs


KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Attention to Detail - needs to be able to interpret and standardize disparate Galehead language and market copy, even without a complete understanding of the business or projects
  • Powerpoint Design - demonstrated proficiency with PowerPoint and Word. Additional design skills or experience are preferred but not required
  • Reporting Analytics - the ability to interpret raw portfolio data (captured in Salesforce or Google Analytics) and translate it into succinct reporting metrics and marketing deliverables
