**Job Summary**
Assemble sub assemblies using various air and hand tools. Provides leadership to others when needed.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
* Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
* Assembles various sub components together to produce an assembly module across multiple work cells.
* Proficient at the use of hand tools, air tools and special tooling.
* Reads a tape measure.
* Proficient at reading prints & drawings within assigned work cell.
* Consistently meets assembly work standards and quality objectives across multiple work cells.
* Certification to operate sit down fork lift.
* Understand and follow all ISO and 5S initiatives.
* Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge & skill.
* Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
**Education/Experience/Certifications**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Must be proficient in the use of an impact gun, torque machine and a hoist.
Be proficient at blueprint reading.
Previous experience on a sit down fork truck.
