Lead Systems Engineer | Aerospace | Austin
Want to join an exciting aerospace business working on the development of bespoke components for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles?
We are partnered with an established company, going through a period of growth, thanks to new contract wins.
They are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to join their fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead systems engineering throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Manage requirements, conduct analysis, and contribute to development efforts
- Drive systems integration and ensure optimal aerodynamics performance
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to meet technical project deliverables
- Perform subsystem analysis to enhance overall project efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering
- Background in the aerospace or defense industries
- Previous involvement in the development of micro-turbines, UAVs, rockets, or similar aircraft
- Preferred background in fluid mechanics/fluid dynamics
- US citizenship required
