Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop detailed building automation system plans, including control diagrams, sequence of operations, and system layouts.
- Select and specify appropriate hardware and software components for BAS projects, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that designs align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to incorporate the latest advancements into design solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building automation system design and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of controls systems, HVAC systems, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio or other relevant design software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
