Summary:

Under direction of management or senior management, the Administrative Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the department/workgroup in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine's TMS-Administration department. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of directly related administrative experience in an academic environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

*Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, administrators, and staff.

*Strong attention to detail.

*Strong written and verbal communication skills.

*Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and follow-through.

*Demonstrated ability to proofread, edit, and compose correspondence.

Preferred:

*Spanish Speaking
