>> Customer Service Representative - UP TO $17/hr Customer Service Representative - UP TO $17/hr Summary Title:Customer Service Representative - UP TO $17/hrID:1300Location:Tuscaloosa, Alabama Description V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking motivated, energetic, and committed full-time customer service professionals in Tuscaloosa, AL to provide top quality customer service and counseling to borrowers who are past due while responding to inquiries. This role is fully remote and requires a full 3-week training prior to beginning the role.

Executive Order 14042 requires vaccination against COVID-19 for all federal employees and employees of federal contractors, with exceptions only as required by law. In order to comply with this executive order, as well as the subsequent guidance issued by the Federal Worker Safety Task Force, all V-Tech employees working on this Federal Government Agency Contract must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This Executive Order is in effect regardless of work location (in-office or remote).

In this role, CSRs will make soft collections and skip tracing contacts in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations and policies and procedures of the federal client. A successful candidate will use good judgment and adhere to sound collection principles to minimize delinquency and avert default while contributing to and promoting a team-oriented quality work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities (Daily and Monthly)

* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, co-workers, and management

* Responsible for the security of workstation and work area regarding the confidentiality of the data and the systems

* All employees are expected to represent the company and its interests in a positive, professional manner inside and outside of the corporate environment

* General knowledge of all loan phases, reviewing information regarding customers account, payments, and loan status questions

* Ability to work independently on tasks such as manual calls, completing return mail, skip tasks, and adding reference information to accounts while meeting completion timelines set per department

* Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities in the servicing system. Assures documentation is properly scanned and indexed using appropriate detail to note and document account

* Work with borrowers to prevent their accounts from going into a default status and being transferred off the system

* Work and communicate in a team environment

* Type data into required systems with both speed and accuracy

* Meet standards/expectations for call statistics, quality scoring, and schedule adherence as set by the client

* Be proactive and discuss with management strategies to improve job performance

* Maintain knowledge of federal and regulatory issues

* Read the training materials and utilize resources provided by department and company

* Follow proper protocol when faced with a personal issue

* Other duties as assigned by management

Educational Requirements

* Associates Degree Preferred

* High School Diploma or GED
