Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. In this role you must be able to operate basic machinery, pick and pack customer orders, perform basic receiving and shipping functions, relocate products within the warehouse and interact with the enterprise resource planning system (ERP) which is JBA. This role also requires an individual to be flexible in terms of working hours and being able to cover various areas of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack products for shipment to customers and other Associated Spring customers.
- Set up and operate machinery efficiently and safely.
- Organize and move products to appropriate stocking locations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Timely handle packaged goods and customer issues.
- Responsible for ordering and receiving products from suppliers.
- Interact with the JBA computer system to process all basic warehouse transactions.
- Print all customer labels.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Perform other warehouse and office duties as assigned.
- Follow the Barnes Group Code of Ethics and Values.
Required Qualifications: - High School Education minimum
- 1-3 years experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing responsibilities.

- The job is primarily mobile, requiring prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and moving between stations and the office.
- The job entails lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and 70 pounds on a limited basis.
- The job requires normal dexterity, strength, coordination, vision, and hearing.
- The job requires the ability to safely operate all office equipment and use the JBA computer system.
- The job requires the ability to organize, communicate, and accurately report information to the Warehouse Manager, Customer Service, and other departments.
- The job requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and to develop analyses and recommendations.
