Stock Room HandlerBohemia, NYOnsiteContract$18.77/hr - $23.77/hrLong term contract opportunity in Bohemia, NY for a Stock Room Handler role. Pull items of varying size/weight from stock to fill kits for issue to manufacturing to fill stock order requirements. Perform daily cycle counts including investigating and rectifying discrepancies; may require bending, squatting, crouching. Overtime is more likely to occur for this role, dependent upon the production line activity. Saturdays are common (5am-1pm shift), not usually the full shift. If there is work for the production line, then the stock room handler is expected to work. If you want to work with the most innovative and passionate people and soar together, apply today.Contract Duration: 6 MonthsRequired Skills & ExperienceMust be able to lift 30lbs (anything 40+ requires a 2-person team).High School Diploma/GED with 4-5 years related experience or Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years of related experience.Must be able to stand and walk the shop floor for full shift (9-10hrs).English speaking.Basic computer skill: MS Outlook and Excel.Dependable: Attendance is important to the manager.Team oriented with the ability to work independently.Results driven.Willingness to learn and not afraid to ask questions.Daily activities include cycle counts, inventory management, and put away stock, and most importantly - filling the production lines with the appropriate material for build.
