Description
The Merchandising Associate must demonstrate the ability to visually merchandise all forms of Shooters World inventory in an attractive and functional manner; must be highly driven and demonstrate the ability to effectively execute processes without direct management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver the World's Best Firearm Experience.
Execute price changes and product rotation.
Ensure products are displayed correctly to drive sales.
Build displays and fixtures while utilizing basic hand tools and power tools.
Ensure the efficient flow of product from the receiving department to the retail floor.
Assist in the attractive and functional merchandising of all Shooters World inventory.
Maintain peg integrity programs.
Ensure that all styles of inventory are effectively represented on the sales floor.
Perform cycle counts.
Maintain Planogram integrity.
Install items to planogram including items such as shelf fronts, product labels, label holders, product display signage, product dividers, racks, front rails, pegs, peg clips, etc.
Assist in detailed teardown and re-installation of fixtures.
Maintain an awareness of current product in all departments.
Execution of sales events and company sales-building programs.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year(s) of prior merchandising experience.
Outstanding oral and written communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills required to interact with all levels of the store team and guests.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide premier customer service.
Ability to interpret and follow directions.
Have critical thinking skills, as well as analytical skills.
Proven ability to effectively and aesthetically merchandise inventory.
Proven ability to work within established processes.
Functional proficiency with computer programs and systems.
Be an individual who is driven, confident, and flexible.
