41 - Indirect Production San Rafael, California Minimum Experience **Mid-level** We are looking for a passionate Inventory Control Coordinator who will report to the Inventory Control Manager. This person will play a key role by increasing company profitability by identifying and implementing processes to maintain accurate inventory levels, at all facilities. This position will work within our inventory control processes to ensure the accuracy of inventory counts and locations in the ERP system. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for owning SOPs and training staff to improve efficiency of operations, monitoring inventory transactions to ensure accuracy, and timeliness of physical versus systematic movements. They will support controls to accurately capture work order, material handling and inventory adjustment activities. The Inventory Control Specialist will conduct ongoing audits of inventory control performance to evaluate status of inventory control systems. * Schedule and manage daily cycle count activities for both FG and RM categories.

* Review current Inventory Control Processes and make recommendations to improve existing Work Instructions and SOPs, training staff on updates.

* Monitor Inventory Transfers to our 3PL partner for accuracy. Resolve and communicate issues to the Warehouse Team.

* Monitor/assess 3PL and Co Manufacturing inventory movements to maintain accuracy communicating discrepancies to business partners.

* Partner with the Quality Department to support different Inventory Statuses such as Micro-Hold, Rejected, QC Hold, OTC and Organic materials.

* Perform daily audits of the warehouses to ensure Inventory Control initiatives are being followed and communicate results to the management team.

* Active management of the Discontinued and Rejected Inventory to ensure continuous inventory flow.

* Coordinate communication with Accounting, Purchasing, Compliance, Quality Control, Customer Service, Warehouse Management and other impacted areas within the company to support company strategies and objectives concerning inventory policies, procedures and accuracies

* Enforces first in/first out rules (FIFO) when concerning movement of inventory from within the warehouse

* Be the subject expert for Inventory Control Processes in NetSuite/WMS in order to provide support and guidance to cross functional departments.

* Partner with NetSuite Administrator to perform user testing on new functions within the WMS and ERP (NetSuite) environment.

* Write SOP and Work Instructions for new Inventory Control Process

* Provide training to cross functional teams in Inventory Control Processes which includes writing or revising Work Instructions when needed.

* Assist Inventory Control Manager in annual Physical Inventory reconciliations and project management.

* Process Manufacturing and Production Work Orders if needed.

* Additional work assignments as directed by the manager.

* 3 to 5 years of inventory control experience, preferably in manufacturing environment

* Self-Starter, ability to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision

* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and ERP Systems

* Knowledge of Inventory Management Mathematics

* Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels

* Proficient with database systems and software programs

* NetSuite or similar ERP experience is a plus
