We are a not-for-profit services Association focusing on mission driven initiatives, with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout 7 Texas Counties. Our organization is home to the largest school age child care provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life for over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizen
Our Preschool at the YMCA is currently seeking a professional, energetic, compassionate, and creative leader to join our team of educators! As a 18mths-3 years Lead Teacher, your focus is to develop and guide your class with enthusiasm, patience, positive guidance techniques, and an open heart.
**$100 Bonus for New Staff!**
**Pay: $13-$18 an hour based on experience**
The shift will be Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 6:00pm
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
Job responsibilities include:
* Create a developmentally appropriate program for our students
* Develop weekly lesson plans, activities and class set-ups
* Work closely with families to encourage mutual cooperation
* Ensure the safety of all children in our program
* Closely follow licensing regulations related to child care
Requirements:
* Experience working in a licensed childcare center
* Passionate about the development and well being of children
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
