Aloia Law is a growing boutique law firm specializing in complex commercial litigation, real estate and business transactions, and municipal law.


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced transactional attorney to join our team in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have at least five to ten years of relevant transactional legal experience with an emphasis in commercial real estate and corporate and business transactions including asset purchase agreements, commercial real estate leases and sales agreements, commercial lending documentation, business formation, and corporate governance documents.


The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple files and client relationships, provide effective legal advice, independently prepare and close transactions from start to finish, and handle numerous projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 to 10 years legal experience in real estate and business transactions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Effective at communicating complex legal concepts and information to sophisticated clients
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • License to practice law in Michigan
  • Admission to the State Bar of Michigan and in good standing
