Front Desk - Recreation - Work-Fit

Shift: 12pm-8pm; Monday-Friday

Location: Everett, WA

Position Description: A Work-Fit Recreation Specialist is responsible for supporting current Work-Fit customers to exceed customer expectations by collaborating on the planning, organizing, communicating, developing, delivering, and measuring of Work-Fit services. A Recreation Specialist will contribute to the advancement of Work-Fit's quality and compliance to support service growth and excellence.

Reports to: A Recreation Specialist will report directly to the Team Leader or Regional Lead associated with their assigned location.

Consulting Partners: The Recreation Specialist will collaborate with all Work-Fit Leadership (VP of Operations, Director of Operations, Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders) in conjunction with Client Senior Leadership and Program Managers. Additional collaboration with other Client Personnel will be expected as requested by Client Leadership.

Job Description:

  • Recreation Delivery
    • Staff the facility reception desk during assigned hours.
    • Direct building guests to conference rooms, courts, fields, and events.
    • Ensure appropriate building usage and get help as needed (staff colleagues, client Program Manager, Security, 911, etc.).
    • Assist in emergencies (e.g., call EMS, escort responders, provide assistance as needed).
    • Facilitate recreation equipment check-out/check-in.
    • Create and maintain field and court usage schedules for building activities.
    • Manage classroom usage calendar and ensure clean, usable space with working equipment (screens, tables, chairs, monitors).
    • Ensure appropriate usage of courts and fields monitoring for policy and rule adherence.
    • Assist client Program Manager with annual club audit process and annual leader meeting.


Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. State Licensure and/or Professional certification in the specified health field
  3. Maintain CPR/AED certification.
  4. 2 years of professional experience.
  5. Effective written (including proper grammar and spelling) and oral communication skills with individuals as well as group settings.
  6. Ability to manage time to ensure all duties and responsibilities are met on a daily and weekly basis.
  7. Ability to work without direct supervision.
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to conduct on-line research.
  9. Proficient with use of electronic recordkeeping database and client databases (as applicable to each Program).
  10. Comfortable in the delivery of service in various work environments such as manufacturing, warehousing, office, and outdoors.
  11. Maintain a consistent and flexible schedule to meet the needs of the Work-Fit Team and Work-Fit customers.
