**STATUS: PART-TIME/SEASONAL**

Elizabethtown, Kentucky is situated at the crossroads of I-65 and the Bluegrass Parkway, making it a convenient place to hold a sporting event. The Sports Park is located near 21 hotels, 6 shopping centers and over 90 restaurants in family-friendly Elizabethtown. The Sports Park can accommodate events and tournaments for baseball, softball, soccer, football, lacrosse, field hockey, and a number of other sports. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:**
* Assist customers as needed with outstanding customer service
* Operate an electronic cash register and credit card machine
* Perform basic mathematical computations
* Balance drawer and manage daily income
* Communicate with the public in a tactful, polite, and friendly manner
* Assist in preparing and serving food items, fill condiment containers
* Clean dining and concession areas and tables.
* Clean working area (e.g., Wash dishes and utensils, clean equipment)
* Take and record temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls in the transportation of food
* Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas
* Assist in party rentals: Guest check-in, party supplies and set-up, cleaning of shelters
* Alert management immediately regarding mistake or adjustment to the cash drawer
* Clean bathrooms at the end of the day
* Great for first-job experience, re-entry into the workforce, or as a secondary income.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
* Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Must have excellent guest service skills
* Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
* Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow Team Members
* Must work well with others
* Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and venue
* Commitment to the safety and well-being of others
* Customer service and cash handling experience preferred or quick study
* Prior experience in the Food and Beverage industry a plus
**WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
* Must be able to lift 40 pounds
* May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
* Facility has intermittent noise
