Accounts Receivable Specialist
Compensation: $18-$20 hourly
Location: Claremore, OK
Contract: 2-3 months
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to customers.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to facilitate prompt payment and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.
- Record and reconcile payments received with outstanding balances in the accounting system.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other internal departments to address customer concerns and ensure smooth payment processing.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update account information as needed.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management review.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounts receivable processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to accounts receivable and apply best practices accordingly.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
