$24/hr. entry-level, temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading sporting goods manufacturer! This company designs and develops top-quality golf equipment, apparel, footwear, and accessories! As a facilities technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of new manufacturing equipment, routine inspection and testing of equipment, and preventative maintenance. This role is full-time and on day shift with a 6am or 6:30am start time!
Facilities Technician Qualifications:
High School Diploma
1+ year of relevant experience
Good communication
Hands-on, willing to get hands dirty
Ability to move wires and experience with HVAC preferred
Comfortable working on the production floor. This position will be exclusively working with our production team and maintaining the production facility
Clearance to travel between the US and Mexico to help support maintenance functions in our Tijuana facility
Facilities Technician Responsibilities:
Assisting in the installation of new manufacturing equipment
Calibration of equipment or machinery
Routine inspection and testing of equipment and machinery this needs to be planned to ensure minimal disruption of processes
Preventative maintenance tasks to try to minimize unexpected issues with equipment
Responding to alerts and operation messages carrying out corrective procedures and repairs in line with SOPs and maintenance protocols
Clear documentation of both routine checks and repairs needed, in line with both internal and external protocols and procedures
Maintains logs of any downtime within the manufacturing system
May be involved in training of production staff of routine maintenance procedures
Includes being able to access the roof from a roof ladder for maintenance and small fan motor change out
Changing waterless urinal inserts as required
Maintain inventory of break room including coffee and supplies
Clean and maintain coffee machines throughout building
Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies
