This is a Monday through Friday position with rotating on-call responsibilities for nights and weekends. This is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Line Patroller, Pipeline Field Man, Natural Gas Operations Technician, Quality Tech, Corrosion Technician, Gas Mechanic or similar.Primary Purpose: Responsible for the operation and maintenance of pipelines (both transmission and storage field systems), compressors and auxiliary equipment, engines, turbines, motors, cooling equipment, pumps, dehydration equipment, process equipment, valves, seals and other related equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities:Responsible for the operation of compressors, engines, auxiliary units, motors, cooling equipment, pumps, seals, valves and related equipmentResponsible for monitoring and controlling process variables, such as pressure, temperature and flow rates to efficiently achieve desired operating resultsStart, stop and operate engines/pumps and other equipment to maintain designated operating parametersAssist in the planning and performance of maintenance and repairs on compressors, engines, turbines, auxiliary equipment, pumps, process controls, and related equipmentEnsure the cost effective and efficient performance of all gas processing units and associated equipmentMonitors quality of product to ensure meeting specifications and takes appropriate actions when out of specification product is identifiedCommunicates with company gas controllers, business groups and other operating groups as necessaryCommunicates with shippers concerning liquid movementResponsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as neededIdentify report and correct safety and environmental concernsTrains company and third party personnel as requiredRepresent the Company during contacts with landowner/tenants and public officials/emergency officialsPerform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirementsWork a rotating shiftComplete appropriate documentation and paperworkActively participate in safety and security program and initiativesParticipates in the development of O&M Procedures, Site Specific Procedures, project scopes and work plansHelp in the development of Site Specific ProceduresDemonstrate performance toward operational excellenceOther duties as assigned.
