Technical Business Analyst | Contract-to- Hire | Hybrid: Orlando, Florida
Optomi in partnership with a leading client, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, for immediate consideration! The Senior Business Analyst is a critical member of the Website App team. This position requires someone with a high level of attention to detail who is highly organized. This candidate should also be capable of soliciting requirements from key stakeholders and translate them into stories that a developer could immediately take action on. This individual will be responsible for supporting the team as we design, develop, produce and sustain unique software solutions. This is a highly collaborative role where partnership and relationship building with various technology teams and non-technical lines of business will be critical.
Responsibilities:
- Create effective, dynamic and well thought out multimedia assets to convey complex technical and strategic information.
- Gather and produce clear, concise project requirements.
- Work with multiple team members while prioritizing workload and meeting project deadlines.
- Administer the JIRA Kanban projects for the team.
- Organize and facilitate productive work sessions with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a business analyst role preferably with a team who supports multiple lines of business.
- Experience with digital / eCommerce initiatives for mobile and web applications within enterprise environments.
- Expert level proficiency with specialized analyst software like Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Ability to apply an analytical perspective to the team s project and sustainment work.
- High-energy, fast-learner, and flexible to manage requirements across multiple projects and teams.
- Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, to all levels of leadership, including senior executives.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams, Jira, Confluence and reporting and analysis tools.
- Work with multiple teams on solutions with focus on optimization and efficiency.
- Experience with Agile development practices including story development, pointing, spring planning, and leading scrum teams.
- Extensive experience gathering and writing complex requirements, user story development, and backlog management.
- Creates stories that support test driven development practices.
- Ensure the impact and release of all changes are tracked and managed and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the team in resolving any questions related to requirement or process.
- Flexibility to meet with customers (end-users).
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering and reporting critical information from meetings with various stakeholders.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion.
- Ability to juggle multiple project workstreams.
- Capable of tracking multiple issues simultaneously.
