Job Responsibilities

Must be able to meet the minimum requirements of the job, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Must demonstrate safe work practices always.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40hours/week, plus frequent overtime.
  • Successful candidates must become a member of local Union.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Knowledge of control valves and motor control circuits.
  • Ability to perform process trouble shooting tasks and work with industrial control circuits.
  • Familiarity of motors, HVAC, DCS, AC/DC drive, tube and conduit bending, ,PLC's and instrumentation calibration

Requirements

  • Full time Rumford Union Employee.
  • Knowledge of maintenance skills
  • Must submit questionnaire and meet minimum overall score.
  • Successful completion of E&I aptitude test.
  • Successful completion of hands on testing.
  • Successful completion of interview process.

Required Experience

  • Associate's degree or higher in electrical, electromechanical, IBEW apprentice program or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook a plus.
  • Self-directed and motivated.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
  • Knowledge of control valves and motor control circuits
  • Ability to perform process trouble shooting tasks and work with industrial control circuits.
  • Familiarity of motors, HVAC, DCS, AC/DC drive, tube and conduit bending, PLC and instrument calibration
