Salary: $70,000 DOE
Location: Canyon Point, Utah
An upscale hotel, renowned for its luxurious amenities and breathtaking surroundings, is seeking two talented sous chefs and a Chef de Cuisine to join its culinary team. This opportunity offers the chance to showcase culinary expertise amidst a highly talented team, creating unforgettable dining experiences for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the executive chef to plan and execute menu offerings that reflect the hotel's culinary standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize profitability while minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role at a luxury restaurant or hotel
- Ability to train, mentor and coach kitchen staff
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team building, staff development, and fostering a positive work culture
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and professional appearance according to company policies
