This opportunity is a 100% remote position (for East Coast based applicants) at a Financial Services & E-commerce e-commerce gateway platform. Their commercial customers can use reliable payment processing platform to sell products and services to their customers all over the world.
Ideally you will be:
- Working with business partners to find practical solutions to their business problems based on data.
- Setting up testing (A/B test or pre-post) to measure performance in the best possible way.
- Analyzing large sets of data to understand the impact of product changes on the customer journey.
- Transforming scientific/data analysis and communicating business performance in a clear and insightful way to other teams to facilitate timely and informed decision-making.
Ideal experience & background:
- Bachelor s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics or quantitative field required (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, data scientist, or related field.
- Understanding of statistics, experimental design, and causal inference.
- Excellent SQL skills as well as experience with common data and statistical toolkits such as R, Python, or PySpark.
Bonus points if you have (not a deal breaker):
- Experience with NoSQL databases, including ElasticSearch.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow.
- Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable big data data stores.
