Warehouse Manager


Job Details

We are seeking a highly qualified Warehouse Manager to oversee our 190,000-square-foot facility in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing warehouses of 100,000 square feet or larger, fluent proficiency in English and Chinese, and a strong background in B2C warehouse operational models.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day operations at the warehouse facility, ensuring optimal utilization of space, resources, and manpower.
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to streamline warehouse processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods, while maintaining accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements and exceed service level expectations.
  • Implement best practices in safety protocols, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to drive decision-making and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives for warehouse staff.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse management, with a focus on facilities of 100,000 square feet or larger.
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and Chinese languages (written and spoken) required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in B2C warehouse operations, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
