**SUMMARY** To supervise the day-to-day operation of the front desk. To serve Legacy Lodge in a professional manner, maintain guests records in an orderly manner, and work with others in anticipating and servicing guests needs.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Supervise front desk associates

* Greet and check in all guest

* Assist in all guest needs and requirements, anticipating them when possible

* Maintain correct room status at all times, keeping housekeeping informed of all changes

* Assist guest in making future reservations

* Maintain knowledge of all current policy and procedures

* Assist with checkout

* Be an ambassador for Lanier Islands Resort by assisting guests with other island activities

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Directly supervises 4-6 employees in the Front Desk Agent. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 18 years of age with valid drivers license and clean MVR for 3 years.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Drivers License and clean three year MVR required.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

**REASONING ABILITY**

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
