Attorney Job Description:

The Roth Firm is looking to add an Associate Attorney to the team. Successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing Personal Injury claims from inception through resolution. Job Requirements:

Must be able to gather, analyze and research information and documents and manage a high-volume case load. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate acute attention to detail. Excellent organizational, written and communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and able to function in a fast-paced, high volume work environment. Litigation and negotiation experience required.

Previous personal injury or auto insurance experience (2 years) and Spanish Speakers strongly preferred.

Job Duties:

Oversee file progress with legal staff, communicate with client on key case issues. Evaluate merits of claim and negotiate settlements. Communicate with opposing counsel and insurance company. Determine the necessity of litigation and pursue litigation cases of all size aggressively. Monitor and control client relationships, including educating the client on processes and setting appropriate client expectations.

Returning all client calls promptly (including nights and weekends)

Meeting with clients for initial case evaluation and contract signing

Initial review of case facts

Monitoring of treatment progress and management of client relationship with various medical and service providers

Review Demands

Negotiation of Settlements

Meeting with client to assess necessity of litigation

Review of Complaints

Oversight of the litigation process to ensure all timelines are met

Preparation of Interrogatories and Responses

Mediation and Trial Prep

State Court and Mag Court Hearings

Closing/Settlement meetings with clients

Tracking and reporting on case expenses and office expenses, management of cost control, expense recoupment and fee collection

Monitoring and resolving un-cleared items on Trust and Business accounts

Other duties as requested or assigned

*Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking candidates heavily considered for this role, but not required.
