**Bird Control Technician- Construction**
We are looking for upbeat and well-organized individuals with a background in construction to fulfill a full-time bird control field technician position. In this position, the technician will work with a team to service commercial clients throughout the NYC area. Services include, construction of bird netting and bird spikes to buildings and structures to deter bird presence. Technicians will use lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolding and drive a company vehicle in this position. Possible regional travel may be necessary.
The ideal candidate will be extremely bright, friendly, helpful and able to multi-task. Candidates must always be confident in their communication skills and abilities to remain calm and organized. Even if you've never considered bird control before, this may be for you. We will train you to be an expert in the field so applicants without a background in this trade are encouraged to apply.
**Requirements:**
* Hard working individuals with a willingness to learn
* Valid NYS Driver's License & familiarity with the Greater NYC area
* OSHA certification preferred
* Scaffolding certification is a huge plus
* Background in construction or maintenance are preferred.
* Serious and mature, career-minded applicants
* Capable of heavy lifting of large tanks (up to 30-75lbs) on a regular basis
**Hours:** Monday - Friday: occasional weekends may occur
