Product Development Associate

Job Details

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager for our client in the wholesale gift and consumer goods industry. The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for product development and sourcing for a private label brand, working closely with the sales team, marketing, and brand management team.

This role is located in Nashville, TN.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management
• Attention to detail and quality work
• Knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures for small manufacturing organizations
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft programs

Responsibilities:

• Executing and delivering all key calendar dates including development deadlines and shipment timelines
• Work with factories to obtain product costs and negotiate pricing to achieve margin goals
• Produce detailed and accurate product specifications, development comments and changes
• Communicate capacity planning and forecasting for each cycle
• Sample management including checking specifications to ensure accuracy of all samples
• Facilitate new vendor and product set up
