Aircraft Component Repair Technician I

We are currently searching for a full-time Technician. Work hours will be 7am-4pm Monday-Friday at our facility in Los Alamitos, CA.
Job Characteristics:
In this entry level position, you will have the responsibility to assist with the overhaul and repair aircraft components and learn the basics of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Repair Station quality system. Tasks will vary from day to day, so expect a challenging environment and freedom to take charge of your own assignments, with ample opportunity to utilize your critical thinking skills.

Quality is paramount, so the ability to spot and correct errors is important. Those who take the initiative to do things right while respecting tight deadlines are highly valued.
Duties/tasks include, but not limited to:
Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with the applicable maintenance data and company manuals.
Recording work and accessing data electronically
Request inspections of work performed in an orderly and timely manner.
Ensure that all test equipment, calibrated tools, and material is verified before use.
Request and verify stock for the work being performed.
Complete the appropriate paperwork within company guidelines.
Skills/Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a mechanical and/or technical role
Computer literate and technologically savvy
Familiar with basic shop tools and safety
Quality-first mindset

Safety Sensitive Employee This position requires a pre-employment drug test and adherence to our FAA accepted Drug and Alcohol program including random drug and alcohol testing

Hazmat Employee Required to undergo Hazmat Employee Training
