The Opportunity. Ad Astra School is seeking an assistant lower elementary teacher (grades 1 - 3) to begin in July 2024.
Through your efforts, in tandem with a lead teacher and in close partnership with the rest of the school team, children learn to thrive in an ever-changing world by igniting their curiosity, stoking their creativity, and empowering their drive for exploration. As a member of the school's founding team, you will have the additional privilege of helping to create its environments and develop this new community into one of the world's finest.

We may prefer you over other candidates if you:
- Currently live in the Greater Austin area
- Have earned a bachelor's degree in child development, education, or STEM-related field
- Have experience teaching STEM-related subjects at the elementary level
- Have leadership experience, particularly in the context of developing and leading STEM activities for children
- Have interesting hobbies, skills, and life experiences
