The Ulla Johnson team is looking for a Boutique Manager to join the Bleecker location. The Ulla Johnson Boutique Manager is responsible for partnering with the Area Manager to achieve sales goals through the development of sales associates while adhering to company policies. They will ensure that all sales associates are engaged, performing, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The Boutique Manager must also maintain a neat and orderly store that adheres to the visual standards set forth by the corporation. The Boutique Manager must be able to analyze the business needs and communicate with the Area Manager about any product opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Craft and execute business strategies to drive store traffic and enhance profitability
- Collaborate closely with corporate teams to align store operations with overall brand strategy, ensuring seamless brand experience across all customer touch points.
- Lead and mentor the store team, fostering an environment of growth, accountability, and excellence.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices.
- Manage comprehensive budgets, including payroll, operational expenses, and inventory control, to ensure store profitability.
- Spearhead the management of inventory, deliveries, transfers, and markdowns, maintaining optimal stock levels and product assortment.
Customer and Community Engagement:
- Elevate customer service standards to ensure the store delivers an exceptional, brand-aligned shopping experience.
- Develop and maintain an effective clientele list, driving business through personalized engagement and understanding customer needs.
- Enhance store visibility and community engagement through strategic marketing initiatives and collaboration with local partners.
Team Development:
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Implement robust training programs, conduct performance reviews, and develop talent within the store to build a high-performing team.
Skills/Qualifications
- Candidate must have 7+ years of luxury retail management experience.
- Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations
- Elevated level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to delegate responsibility to other staff members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to correspond clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- A positive, outgoing, high-energy personality with exceptional customer service skills
Annual Salary Range: $90k-$110k
