Position Details:
Datrose is seeking a Forklift Operator for a one year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire. The pay rate is $18.00/hr. The shift is 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday and the facility is located in East Rochester, NY.
Who We're Looking For:
Candidates with Forklift Certification to work in an industrial/warehouse environment. Experience should include picking stock, using handheld scanners, loading and unloading materials. A team player, with good communication skills and a mind for safety. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
What to Expect as a Forklift Operator:
- Perform various manual activities under minimal/direct supervision
- Picking stock
- Light manufacturing
- Building pallets for shipment
- Loading and unloading materials
- Ordering, storing and delivering supplies
- Using hand scanners
- Heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications for Success:- High School Diploma or GED/HSE is required
- Fork Truck License required
- Need steel toe safety shoes
- Basic mathematic skills
- Prior Warehouse/Dock experience
- Detail oriented with time management skills
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word and basic Excel and Outlook
- SAP knowledge is preferred
