JOB DESCRIPTION: Construction Worker II involves performing a variety of manual maintenance and equipment operation tasks related to the replacement or extension of existing sewer lines, the construction of new catch basins or utility access holes, the replacement of concrete roadway, driveways, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, the installation of cured in place pipe patches, cementitious utility access hole lining, or other construction and repair projects. Able to operate backhoe, excavator, and bulldozer, and is the primary equipment operator. This classification is a DOT regulated position. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED (required).1 or more years of relevant experience (required). Demonstrate and pass equipment operational skills (required). Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement within 6 months. Current Class I KWEA collections certification required. Salary Range: $25.83/hr.
