WOW Logistics is now hiring for a Financial Analyst!

The Financial Analyst will provide management with all aspects of the analysis of the financial and operational data, monitor variances, identify areas needing improvement, and provide recommendations for actions to take. The Financial Analyst is responsible for the interpretation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial statements that are the foundation of corporate strategic decisions.



Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial and operational data by identifying, tracking, and monitoring financial and operational metrics and comparing with models, budgets, and forecasts
  • Identify areas of concern and determine the root cause based on data interpretation, comparative analysis, and identifying trends
  • Provide analysis of results monthly, quarterly, and annually by location, SBU (Strategic Business Unit), and legal entity level
  • Prepare management and Board of Director reporting packages
  • Communicate and present financial analysis in an effective, concise manner
  • Update Finance KPI s and Interest rate reporting
  • Increase effectiveness and efficiency by developing automated reporting and analysis tools
  • Coordinate and manage the annual budget process
  • Assist in the monthly and quarterly forecast process
  • Aid with creation and evaluation of pricing and financial models
  • Financial analysis of sales opportunities for alignment with company profitability standards
  • Assist in the analysis of data for process improvement projects
  • Assist in the interpretation and/or application of new regulations or accounting standards into accounting processes
  • Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by management



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in analytics, statistics, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or closely related field required
  • Prior experience developing methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing data for complex analyses
  • Previous experience evaluating financial statements and contracts
  • Ability to lead and manage special projects that may necessitate cross-functional partnerships
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Experience with Power BI a plus
  • Excellent written, listening, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to concisely present financial and operational data
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, self-manage, and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests to meet project deadlines
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and exceptional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced group environment
  • Self-driven and confident
  • Willingness to grow and take on additional responsibilities as needed
