General Responsibilities: The Adult Program Coordinator/Program Staff Supervisor is the primary administrative and clinical supervisor for the residential program and responsible for managing the clinical and administrative operations of the home. They/them ensures that residential staffing meets DDS regulatory requirements, oversees physical plan concerns of the home and assigns responsibilities to each shift of Residential Adult ABA Counselors for habilitative services and activities. The Program Coordinator may supervise up to 15 staff. Melmark New England Adult services serves adult with autism spectrum disorders, brain injury, neurological diseases and disorders.

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology, Master's degree is preferred. Will be required to enroll in MNE sponsored Master's program within one (1) year of hire.

Certifications/Licensure: Board Certification at the Bachelor's (BCaBA) required. Will be required to receive BCBA certification within one (1) year upon completion of their Master's degree. A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Must be capable of attaining approved Melmark driver status. Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements. Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and Melmark's Orientation Program and New Hire Onsite training program.

Skill(s): Must demonstrate strong reading, written and oral language skills. Strong teaching skills with emphasis on Consumers who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged. Experience or interest in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis, curriculum and special education (Autism Spectrum Disorders). Strong interpersonal skills are required.

Experience: Prefer at least two (2) years experience with related populations. Advanced skills in educational and clinical services will be required in this role.

Interrelationships: Individuals served, families, Lead ABA Counselors, Residential ABA Counselors, School Services staff and all other departmental staff.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
