Our client, a medical practice affiliated with an award-winning healthcare facility and teaching institution serving residents in Staten Island, NY, is hiring a Primary Care Physician.
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care
- Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults, and the elderly
- Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients
- Patient volume: 20-25 patients per day
- Schedule: Regular business hours with a couple of Saturday's a month
Requirements
- MD / DO degree
- Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Valid New York State License
- DEA and Medicaid number
- Must be able to work independently
- Will consider new grads as well as experienced physicians
