Job Details
Plumbing, Sewer and Water contractor of 38 years in NW Chicago area.
Part time mechanic 24-40 hours a week depending on need. Work on small engines, heavy equipment and truck/vans. There are also vintage cars to work on when work is slow. Jobs that are too big will be sent out for repairs.
Mechanics area is heated and has a two post lift. The larger tools are provided but prefer mechanic to have most of their own hand tools.
Flexible hours. No weekends.
Perfect for a retiree looking for something to do and get out of the house.
Requirements
Knowledge of working on vehicles. Must be familiar with gas and diesel engines.
Stick, MIG and TIG welding a plus.
Paint and body work a plus.
