Grayson Search Partners has partnered with a multi-billion dollar Venture Capital firm to bring on a Senior Accountant to work cross-functionally with the Controllership & Finance department to assist in daily operations, strategy functions, and ad hoc projects.
The ideal candidate will have a foundation in public accounting and/or work experience at a VC, PE, or HF firm.
In this role, no two weeks will look the same, you will have the ability to be pushed or pulled in various directions, some responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting, Quarter close, journal entries, participation in internal controls processes
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare BOD reports and other ad hoc reports for Leadership
- budget, forecast, variance analysis
- Investment & Fund returns, cash management, investor requests
Qualifications
- 3+ years' of public accounting and/or relevant financial services firms
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- CPA preferred
