Dealer Sales Representative

Bellmont's sales division is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team and become a key contributor to our continued rapid growth. This is a pure sales role focused on B2B customers. Sales representatives are responsible for managing an assigned territory while meeting and exceeding sales goals, increasing both top line revenue and company profitability. You will be accountable for aggressive growth in sales in both existing customers and new prospects and ideally have existing relationships with dealers and designers in the assigned territory. The right person will be enthusiastic, persistent, and committed to adding value to customers with product training, industry knowledge, and problem solving. To be successful, you will operate your territory as if you were an entrepreneur with passion, relational strength, communication, money motivation and discipline. Key Duties and Responsibilities


Represent and promote Bellmont Cabinet Company lines and the value we represent across multiple sales channels.


Drive year over year sales growth in assigned territory to meet sales goals and objectives.


Approach each day with an entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to meet your personal financial goals.


Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.


Prepare action plans to identify and aggressively pursue specific prospects in your territory.


Passionately and effectively present company products to existing and new customers.


Complete industry and area related research to understand emerging trends and new opportunities.


Retain and increase market share over our competitors.


Maintain personal ownership and accountability over the success of your territory.


Spend considerable time out of the office (4-5 days a week) developing relationships including some overnight travel.


Work cross-functionally with all teams, including Customer Service, Accounting, Shipping, Marketing, and Product Development.


Generate and submit sales reports to management.


Develop at minimum, a basic familiarity and usability of 2020 design software.


Using Salesforce and other tools, maintain accurate documentation of customer activity, prospect pipeline, and customer records daily.


Skill & Knowledge Requirements


Professional sales skills and the understanding of selling processes.


Ability to navigate high pressure situations and provide a calming influence between parties.


Strong communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to relate to multiple levels and functions within customer organizations.


Exceptional work drive, money motivation and entrepreneurial passion for sales.


Basic business acumen to analyze and discuss customer operations.


Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Teams and Excel.


Knowledge of home building, construction schedule, woods, laminates, and other construction materials, as well as cabinetry design and installation.


Develop customers through lunch and learn presentations, cold calling, etc.


Qualifications


5+ years sales, cabinet design, and or project management experience in the Kitchen and Bath industry.


Excellent sales and closing skills as well as problem solving capabilities.


Track record of results-driven, detail-oriented, and competitive drive.


Above average skills with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and Salesforce.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all external and internal customers.


Demonstrate understanding of construction, remodeling, carpentry, and ability to read blueprints/cabinet layouts.


2020 design software experience is a plus.


Strong organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.


Valid driver's license and ability to be covered under company insurance.


Education and experience


4-year college degree is preferred. Applicable industry experience will also be considered.


Sales and Territory Management experience preferred.
