Project Management
- Effectively Project manager various types of lift truck development projects not limited to: new product development, product line extensions, and product improvement projects. Project types can range from batteries/chargers, autonomous mobile robots, but will primarily focus on class 1, class 2, and class 3 electric lift trucks.
- Effectively partner with the design team in China on the project schedule, deliverables management, and design feedback
Plan/Track
- Develop product portfolio roadmap
- Develop and maintain vision documents to identify and drive next generation of new product development with engineering and global R&D teams
- Effectively schedule, track deliverables, monitor progress/status vs plan, identify next steps, identify issues, evaluate design changes, and organize/coordinate key parties to push a project to completion
- Collaborate, and communicate effectively with internal departments and international teams
- Plan and track projects throughout the entire development process: vision/proposal, design, development/test, field test, technical documentation, production planning, and launch
Develop
- Proactively develop and maintain effective virtual design reviews with design team, including mentoring design engineers and ensuring proactive follow-up in all projects.
- Partnering with sales leaders to effectively identify and develop testing sites, guidelines, customer feedback processes, analyzing and implementing customer feedback into existing and future products
- Perform routine follow-up visits on the truck operation, design feedback, hourly usage
- Partner with key sales leaders to visit end-users and key account customers to collect customer feedback and support......
- Work with testing engineering and perform thorough reviews, inspection, and tests of the new trucks
Launch
- Effectively develop and ensure all documentation/deliverables are ready for product launch
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with various departments for the implementation of the new trucks: technical documentation, marketing, sales, aftermarket, and production.
