Context :
Our client, a major investment bank, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team dedicated to developing and supporting solutions for Finance, Risk, and Liquidity functions.
The Liquidity team oversees the platform used by ALMT, Finance, and Risk for Liquidity monitoring metrics and Regulatory Reporting.
They design and implement solutions, maintain and enhance the liquidity framework in compliance with regulatory and management reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preliminary studies with the Business/sponsor
- Elicit, analyze business requirements and processes
- Ensure that the requirements are properly defined and validated
- Undertake data assessment, data gap analysis, and remediation
- Define functional, technical, and organizational solutions to meet all requirements
- Develop technical/functional specifications consistent with the solution
- Perform System Testing (SIT) and plan/manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Be the functional SME go-to person for an entire project or BAU activities
Candidate Profile
- Proven work experience as Business Analyst and/or Application Testing in Accounting or Financial systems in Banking
- Experience in Liquidity Monitoring and Reporting solutions, ETL/Datawarehouse solutions, Ledger, or Financial Regulatory Reporting
- Expertise in Liquidity Monitoring Report (FR 2052a), Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Foreign Exposure Reporting (FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019), Internal Liquidity Stress Testing, Liquidity Risk Limits, complex financial products, their related-risk, and liquidity impacts, or Accounting and financial processes
- Knowledge of US and Canadian Regulation is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize
- Ability to organize activities, prioritize, and pay attention to detail
