Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire regional IT support teams to excel in supporting warehouse and transportation operations.
  • Network Management: Plan and execute upgrades and security measures for local IT infrastructure, ensuring robust and secure network operations.
  • Telephony: Manage and enhance local telephone systems, ensuring effective communication channels throughout the organization.
  • Training and Support: Oversee IT training programs, providing hands-on support and ensuring all systems are optimized for user needs.
  • Troubleshooting and Recovery: Lead troubleshooting efforts, manage systems backups, and ensure rapid recovery during disruptions.
  • Help Desk Supervision: Manage local help desk operations, escalating and resolving issues swiftly to maintain business continuity.
  • Asset Management: Build strong vendor relationships, oversee local IT procurement, and ensure responsible asset management.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation protocols within the technology areas of the warehouse.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to autonomously initiate and drive projects.
  • Tech Savvy: Profound knowledge of Computer Networking, WMS, and TMS systems with relevant certifications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced troubleshooting skills required to provide expedited support.
  • Management Experience: Proven management skills with at least 4-5 years of experience in systems management in a logistic environment.
  • Educational Background: College-level education in a relevant field, showcasing a strong foundation in IT and systems management.
