The School of Counseling and Well-Being within the College of Applied Human Sciences at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-Time Adjunct Faculty positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in child development, family science, counseling, addiction studies, health and Well-being and rehabilitation counseling in Spring 2024, Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 semesters.

These positions at minimum require a master's or doctoral degree in child development, psychology, counseling, or a related discipline, as well as evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. The positions available in the counseling area may require counseling experience and/or holding appropriate licenses in the field.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis. While these positions are not anticipated to be benefits-eligible, individual positions may become benefits-eligible based on course load - which may vary depending on departmental need.
