Construction Welder


Job Details


Construction Welder is responsible for welding, assembling, erecting, dismantling and/or repairing structural steel, steel structures, fixtures, cabinetry, and other items utilizing proper tools, equipment and materials for the various tasks required for all phases of construction welding.


  • Certified AWS D1.1 welder
  • Proficient in structural steel welding and fabricating using FCAW & SMAW
  • Read, comprehend, and understand AWS symbols, welding wire data sheets, and AWS (WPS) welding procedure specifications

EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Must pass a weld test
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Construction Welding OR trade/vocational school equivalent
  • Knowledge of construction welding materials, tools, and equipment, as well as methods of construction, procedures, practices, precautions, and safety


Standard hours are between 7AM and 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri
