Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our automotive component manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the equipment, machinery, and infrastructure critical to our production processes, ensuring seamless operations and product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to align maintenance activities with production goals and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of equipment to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected failures.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics, such as equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and breakdown frequency, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize expenditures to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in maintenance management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies in all maintenance operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability within the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in maintenance management, preferably within the automotive manufacturing or supplier industry.
  • Solid technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and automated systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse maintenance team.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software, CMMS systems, and standard office tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to diagnose issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
